MLBB: Burn x Flash renames to Flash KH

One of Cambodia’s most prominent esports teams is making a big change in their overall team identity.

Burn x Flash is now officially known as Flash KH as of March 4, 2023.

In a statement posted on their social media platforms, the team says this marks the commitment made by their sponsors and supporters toward achieving more wins in the pro esports scene.

“Dear all our Flamers, today we are pleased to officially announce a major event in our team’s journey. Our team has continued to develop and grow since 2019. With the endless support of Flash and all our Sponsors, our team reflects more clearly on who we are and a determination towards our goals. From today, we will change from BURN x Flash to Flash KH,” the team said on Facebook.

The organization adds, “we also want to ensure everyone that this decision will not affect anything to our team. Our team will still try our very best for our goals and for Esports in Cambodia.”

Flash KH was founded in 2019 as one of the country’s pioneer MLBB esports teams. The team won the championship in MPL Cambodia Spring 2023 and placed 3rd in the MPL Cambodia Autumn 2023 season.

Most recently, the team placed 9th-12th at the 2024 Phygital Games of the Future in Kazan, Russia, with an all-Filipino stand-in lineup.

The team added, “please continue your support to our team! We can’t wait to share this new valuable journey with all of you!”

Flash KH’s team has recently came back from Kazan to prepare for the first half of the 2024 MPL competitive season.
