After several weeks of rumors about Bleed Esports joining the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene, it is now a reality.

The Asian organization announced its Rainbow Six Siege lineup a few hours ago that will participate in the Asian League. Bleed Esports is a very active organization in VALORANT and Dota 2. It has decided to dabble in the R6 world for this 2023 season.

This news comes after many recent rumors about the organization’s landing in leagues dedicated to Ubisoft’s video game.

Bleed Esports signs experienced players to the R6 lineup

The popular Singapore-based organization Bleed Esports has decided to take a risk by foraying into the Rainbow Six competitive scene. We say a risk since, as we have mentioned, several of the most important organizations in the esports scene in the world have decided to move away from this video game in recent weeks.

However, Bleed Esports, with this announcement, gives a clear message that they fully trust in this esports and want to make the most of it.

As we can see from the Twitter post, Bleed Esports’ starting lineup for the 2023 Rainbow Six Siege Asian League season will be as follows:

  • Patrick “MentalistC” Fan
  • Wu “Reeps96” Weichen
  • Aldi “Hovenherst” Firmansyah
  • Taylor “Skux” Ching
  • Jay “Asphy” Wan
  • Zhang “BrucezZ” Jinghe – Coach
  • Jeremy “HysteRiX” Tan – Esports General Manager

MentalistC comes from Fnatic and Invictus Gaming. That is, this player, in addition to having experience in the scene, has been part of huge organizations in the esports scene. On the other hand, Reeps96 was the mainstay of Dire Wolves, while Hovenherst comes from playing for Gaimin Gladiators.

Reeps96 stepped away from the Dire Wolves’ starting lineup in December 2022 for “personal reasons.”. This surprised many fans, as the team was to play in the qualifiers for the 2023 Six Invitational. The team managed to qualify for the top event in the R6 competitive scene, but they felt the absence of their best player.

Rest of the team

The rest of the team consists of Skux and Asphy. Skux, formerly known as “Terdsta” and Asphy, is ready to debut in the top tier of R6 this weekend. These players are well known for having played many tournaments at a much lower level, so there are high expectations around the level they can play at the top tier.

Bleed Esports is not an experienced organization in the esports world, as it was created in September 2021. However, a few days ago, they signed a spectacular Dota 2 lineup with Daryl “iceiceice” Koh at the helm and a great VALORANT team.

The Rainbow Six Siege Asia League starts next March 11, 2023.
