LoL Kickoff 2023 winners

The first event of the League of Legends 2023 season — the LoL Kickoff 2023 — has officially ended and we have the winning teams.

First, let’s remember that this event was a change made by Riot Games, instead of the usual All-Stars tournament.

As a part of the LoL Kickoff 2023, each team from all regions had to send a player to form teams among themselves and kick off this season.

Winning teams in each of the regions

LCK

The LCK held a season 13 kickoff meeting with a match between two teams. With Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok as captains, the LCK Kickoff played a very entertaining Bo3.

After two exciting maps, the third would give the winner, and just as in the Grand Final of Worlds 2022, the victory would fall to Deft and his team. Deft’s team gave a recital starring the world champion himself. Deft’s Kai’Sa seems ready for the LCK and their move to DWG KIA (now called Dplus KIA).

LEC

Dynasty prevails over legacy in the inaugural European League of Legends show to match. On the second day of the LoL Kickoff 2023, Team Dynasty and Team Legacy faced off on behalf of LEC.

What better way to return to the LEC studio than with a win? Rekkles’ performance in the show match was terrific, giving it all for his team’s victory. Team Dynasty took the victory with a galactic Rekkles in his return to the stage.

LLA

The League of Legends Latin America (LLA) also held its show match for the LoL Kickoff. The Latin American edition closed the new League of Legends event with a spicy duel. Some representatives of the LLA took the stage for a show match where La Tukineta would face La Grellneta.

Josedeodo’s return to Latin America was not only welcomed with hugs and celebrations. On Grell’s part, there would be a defeat disguised as a gift to take the opening show match of the season.

LPL

The Chinese League of Legends league held its event with the particularity of having four teams. The LPL Kickoff had four teams due to the large number of representatives that the league has. Big names like Rookie, Meiko, 369, and Huanfeng were present, but the tournament would fall into the hands of another legendary duo.

Create Our Legacy, a team with TheShy and JackeyLove, was crowned the LPL kickoff champion. The team shined with a very naughty TheShy and a very good JackeyLove.

CBLOL

Team dyNquedo defeated Team Robo in the 2023 Season Kickoff, an event that marks the start of the new League of Legends (LOL) season. The best three-game series (MD3) was a show match between ten players participating in the CBLOL (Brazilian League of Legends Championship).

LCS

Zoomers defeated the Boomers with a 2-1 in the LCS Kickoff 2023. However, Kim “Berserker” Min-Cheol and Mingyi “Spica” Lu beat the Boomers with a terrific quality of play.
