Logan Paul is a popular and controversial internet figure who has generated quite a lot of controversy at many different times.

One of his most remembered moments was in the suicide forest in Japan, where he disrespectfully approached the corpses. This would have meant the end of the career for many people, but it did not happen this way for Paul; it only increased his fame.

He then became a UFC fighter and wrestler, appearing in the popular show Wrestlemania. The YouTuber also used this fame to participate heavily in an NFT game called CryptoZoo.

About CryptoZoo

CryptoZoo, as described by Logan Paul, is an “Enjoyable game that makes you money.” This type of comment has been heard frequently with Web3 games that have materialized with fraudulent results.

In CryptoZoo, the player must log in and purchase the game token to purchase eggs. The objective is to breed the animals received from the eggs. The rarer the animal obtained, the more lucrative the game will be.

On the official CryptoZoo website, they describe the game as:

“Autonomous ecosystem that allows ZooKeepers to buy, sell and trade exotic and hybrid animals.”

Where did CryptoZoo go wrong?

The allegations have been delivered by YouTuber Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen. Coffeezilla interviewed some of CryptoZoo’s early investors, and it became evident that people had lost millions of dollars on their investments.

Logan, who spent $2.5 million on eggs, has inflated the in-game market, causing the coin to skyrocket and achieve a market capitalization of $2 billion. Moreover, talk about the CryptoZoo images, which were allegedly created by 10 artists, took six months to come to light, but it turned out that they were copied from Google images.

Coffeezilla spoke to one of the scam victims, who said he lost less than $7,000 with CryptoZoo. He further argued that the passive income and core game mechanics never worked. They were not even written in the contract.

Based on the obvious evidence of deception, Logan Paul cheated the people who worked on the project and his fans out of money while he enriched himself with millions.

Reply from Logan Paul

Logan Paul, on the other hand, indicated that the allegations are not true:

“It’s simply not true.

When appropriate, all bad actors will be exposed, explained, and held fully accountable.”

He further assured that he would discuss the issue on his podcast on January 3, 2023, adding that he had invited Coffeezilla to talk about the matter. The latter responded that he had already invited Logan to his show.

It only remains to wait for which of the two confirms to attend the other’s show.
