On the other hand, LA Thieves and Minnesota RØKKR have taken two spectacular victories to lead the overall standings for now.

LA Thieves crushed Seattle Surge and London Royal Ravens

LA Thieves started these qualifiers with the firm conviction to overcome what they did in Major III, where they were eliminated in round 2 of the Elimination Bracket. However, the team started in the Winners Bracket, thanks to the fifth place in the online qualifiers.

Their first match of this tournament was against London Royal Ravens, one of the weakest teams in this season of the CDL. LA Thieves won their first tournament match against London Royal Ravens, one of the weakest teams in the CDL this season, with a 3-0 victory. In addition, the three victories were crushing, as in Hardpoint at the Mercado las Almas, they won 250-101; in Search&Destroy at Embassy, they won 6-0, and they finished off with a 3-0 win in Control (El Asilo).

Minnesota RØKKR surprises and crushes Mutineers and LA Guerrillas

The RØKKKR, with an excellent performance by Kevin “Fame” Bonanno, managed to take a crushing victory over the Florida Mutineers with a score of 3-0.

While it is true that the Mutineers put up a fight in each of the games, the RØKKKR were victorious in Zarqwa Hydroelectric (Hardpoint), Mercado Las Almas (Search&Destroy), and Hotel (Control).

The Mutineers came close to winning the second and third games, but the RØKKR’s response capacity was spectacular and prevented them from doing so.

Finally, with a spectacular reverse sweep against LA Guerrillas, the RØKKKR took the win 3-1 and secured their second tournament victory.

The RØKKKR were stunned at Al Bagra Fortress (Hardpoint) by LA Guerrillas, who took the win 250-160. However, this only caused the RØKKKR to wake up completely and start crushing and ending the hopes of the Californian team.
