There is no doubt that the legends of our favorite video games will always be in our thoughts, and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub is one of them. While it is true that the player is still active in the Team Falcons lineup, everything points to the fact that he could soon hang up his mouse and keyboard from the professional scene to dedicate himself to content creation.

Some reports in recent days have highlighted that the player may have considered leaving the professional game to dedicate himself to content creation. However, everything seems to indicate that one of the best AWPers in CS:GO could move to a new role within the organization.

KennyS to become content creator at Team Falcons

According to a report published by esports journalist Alejandro Gomis, one of the best AWPers in CS:GO history, kennyS is considering a move to become a content creator for Team Falcons. The report indicates that this is all due to the impending clean slate the organization wants to make after failing to meet expectations in recent months.

On the other hand, the report details that the organization may discard four of the five starting players on the roster, with Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro being the only player who would remain on the team.

While it is not certain that the remaining four players on the roster will leave the team, it is more likely that kennyS will leave the competitive scene for another role within the organization. While it is true that absolutely nothing is mentioned about a possible retirement of the French AWPer, if he moves on to content creation, retirement could be imminent.

KennyS is not at his best

In recent months, the French AWP superstar has failed to rise to the occasion and, according to HLTV, in the 31 games he has played for the team, kennyS has only managed to have a 2.0 rating in nine of them. In addition, Team Falcons’ failure to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major is undoubtedly leading the organization to make drastic decisions.

Despite not being in his best form, kennyS is remembered as one of the best AWPers in CS:GO history. His ability to understand the game and the aggressiveness in each of his moves made him a fan-favorite player. However, there is no doubt that his best level was in the 2015 season when he became the Major champion and won the tournament MVP.

KennyS joined the Team Falcons lineup at the end of 2022 to lift the team from the Tier 2 scene. However, his efforts were insufficient, and the team failed to compete in the major competitions in this 2023 season.

On the other hand, there is also talk in the report that Nathan “NBK” Schmidt, a personal friend of kennyS and current Team Falcons player, could stay with the team to build a new lineup around him and bodyy.
