Invictus Gaming announces new Dota 2 lineup

The Dota 2 competitive scene is in a very intense offseason, and one of the latest organizations to announce its new lineup was Invictus Gaming.

One of the world’s most popular Chinese organizations in the esports scene signed 5 new players to their Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season. Moreover, by reading the names of each of the players, we can realize that the team is here to stay, and they are ready to fight for all the trophies in 2024.

Invictus Gaming Reborn

After dominating the Dota 2 scene for several years, Invictus Gaming’s performance has been in free fall recently. And that, since the 2021 season, the organization had been out of the spotlight of Tier 1 tournaments, and the last one in which they participated was in the Bali Major 2023, and they finished in last place. That is why this popular and legendary organization needed a clean slate as soon as possible.

About the signings

Now, we start with NothingToSay, who comes from playing LGD Gaming for the last 4 years. During this time, the 22-year-old player and LGD finished in second and third place in TI10 and TI12, respectively, in addition to other significant and incredible achievements.

On the other hand, we have Monet, considered one of the most important players in the AD Carry role in China. Monet played with Team Aster for four seasons, and during this time, he undoubtedly completely dominated the Chinese Dota 2 scene and, above all, reached the top four of The International 11.

xNova is an experienced player ranked as one of the most impressive Supporters in this Asian region. XNova’s experience, veterans, and winning blood can be instrumental in IG’s success in the upcoming season.

On the other hand, JT is no stranger to IG, having been part of the team’s staff in previous years. However, 2023 was not expected for him, as he could not participate in the most important tournaments of the season. However, he also has a great experience that, for sure, will be very well used in this new IG squad.

Finally, another veteran in the Chinese scene, BoBoKa, has extensive competitive experience in the Dota 2 scene and has played for major teams such as Team Aster and BOOM Esports.

Undoubtedly, this will be a rebirth for this organization that has become accustomed to being at the top of the Dota 2 competitive scene. However, we will have to wait and see how the harmony within the team will be, as they are all superstars.
