Swedish esports organization GODSENT is reportedly returning to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitive scene.

Since Emil “HeatoN” Christensen has recently become GODSENT’s major share holder and CEO, we cannot rule out that the team’s new lineup will be composed of Swedish players.

Likewise, it is said that the organization could bet on some European veterans.

Rumors place Bad New Eagles lineup as the new GODSENT

According to a report published by Portuguese media outlet Fraglider, GODSENT is about to announce the Kosovar CS:GO Bad New Eagles lineup.

Recall that this organization, without recognition or sponsors, attended two Majors in 2022.

If this signing is completed, Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti, Genc “gxx-” Kolgeci, Flatron “juanflatroo” Halimi, Dionis “sinnopsyy” Budeci and Rigon “rigoN” Gashi will play under the GODSENT banner. This roster left Team BLINK to form the Bad New Eagles back in February 2022.

About Bad New Eagles

Against all odds, the guys from BNE qualified for two Majors in the 2022 season. While they did not achieve impressive results, they made it all the way to the Legends Stage in both competitions.

At the PGL Antwerp Major held last May, the BNE boys beat Eternal Fire, Imperial Esports, and MIBR to qualify for the next stage.

While in the IEM Rio Major, they managed to get through the Challenger Stage with a 3-0 record after beating 00 Nation, BIG, and Team GamerLegion. In addition, they eliminated the reigning champion of the Major at the time, FaZe Clan.

Bad New Eagles are currently managed by presenter and interviewer James Banks, one of the best-known hosts in the professional CS:GO scene. But, they are now without a coach, as, Klesti “stikle-” Kola left the team in December.

Reports note that two-time Major champion Devilwalk was coaching the team after stikle- left the project.

About GODSENT

GODSENT has been absent from the competitive CS:GO scene since June 2022, when it sold players Epitácio “TACO” de Melo, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, and Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, coach Olavo “cky” Napoleão, as well as technical staff and management, to 00 Nation. In addition, the organization sold João “felps” Vasconcellos to Fluxo in August and Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara to 00 Nation VALORANT team.

GODSENT is a well-known name in the competitive CS:GO scene. After its creation in 2016, iconic players like KRIMZ, JW, flusha, Lekr0, dennis, and Brollan played under its banner for several seasons.

GODSENT’s last attempt at CS:GO was with the Brazilian lineup led by TACO, which qualified for the PGL Stockholm Major in 2021.
