Genshin Impact: All about Yaoyao

The release of Genshin Impact patch 3.4 is coming. It will bring with it a four-star Dendro character named Yaoyao.

Dendro characters are those who master the power of nature.

Yaoyao will arrive in patch 3.4 on January 18. Players can obtain this character using wishes from the gachapon’s store.

Yaoyao’s characteristics, skills, and constellations

Characteristics

• Rarity: 4 stars
• Weapon Type: Spear
• Element / Vision: Dendro
• Region: Liyue

Skills

Normal Attack: Spin Spear

• Standard: A combo of four quick attacks with a spear.
• Charged: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to make a horizontal charge against enemies.
• Descending: Launches from the air to strike the ground, generating physical damage in the area of enemies.

Cloud Radish

When using this Elemental Ability, Yaoyao will summon a device on the field in the shape of a rabbit called “Yuegi Launcher.”

The Yuegi Launcher is dedicated to launching Puffing Radishes; these do Dendro Damage in a small area if thrown toward enemies, and if they explode near our character, we will receive a certain amount of healing based on Yaoyao’s Max Health.

ULTI: Fleeting Jadestello

Summons a Yuegi Saltimbanqui very similar to his Elemental Ability and enters the Adeptic Illumination state, which gives him the following characteristics:

• Every so often, a Yuegi Saltimbanqui enters the game, and you can have a maximum of 3 of these on the battlefield.
• Yaoyao’s Dendro Resistance is increased by 50%.
• Yaoyao’s Movement Speed will be increased by 15%.

Stealth Tracking

When Yaoyao is part of your team, Crystalopters and other creatures do not get scared when you approach them.

This talent will be beneficial when you need to make a route to get Crystalloptera cores more easily.

Passive 1: Stellar Propagation: When Yaoyao uses his Ulti to enter the Adeptic Illumination state and runs, jumps, or sprints, it continuously launches Gasping Radishes towards nearby enemies.

Passive 2: Circumspection: When a character comes in contact with Yaoyao’s Gasping Radish explosion, every second, it improves 0.8% of Yaoyao’s maximum health for 5 seconds.

Constellations

• C1 – Adeptic Tutelage: When a character comes into contact with the explosion of a Jaded Radish, he will gain a 15% Dendro Damage Bonus for 8 seconds and recover 15 Stamina points.
• C2 – Innocent Righteousness: When a Gasping Radish from Yaoyao’s Ulti bursts against an enemy, it will recover 3 points of Elemental Energy.
• C3 – Kind Loyalty: Increases by three levels.
• C4 – Tender Gentleness: Yaoyao’s Elemental or Ultimate Ability will increase Yaoyao’s Elemental Mastery by 0.3% of her Max Health for 8 seconds.
• C5 – Pure Compassion: Increases the Ultimate Ability by three levels.
• C6 – Benevolent Charity: When a Yuegi Caster has cast two Puffing Radishes, the third one will become a super powerful radish with the following characteristics:
• It possesses an area of damage more significant than that of a Puffing Radish.
• Its damage is equivalent to 75% of Yaoyao’s Attack.
• Restores health in an amount equal to 7.5% of Yaoyao’s maximum health.
• Each Yuegi Caster can only cast two super-powered Megarabans in its entire duration.
