Several major organizations in the competitive esports scene have been blindly betting on Riot’s tactical shooter VALORANT. However, one of those that had not yet presented its lineup for 2023 was FaZe Clan, and many fans of this organization were wondering why.

Now, all is clear, as FaZe has finally revealed its VALORANT squad for NA Challengers 2023.

FaZe announces VALORANT roster

Just hours before the VALORANT Challengers League kicked off, FaZe announced its lineup heading into this 2023 season. This comes after two months of the offseason and a lot of fan speculation about what this popular organization would be prepared.

As we know, Andrej “BABYBAY” Francisty and Kevin “POISED” Ngo were the mainstays of FaZe Clan’s lineup for the 2022 season. The team was not as successful as expected and failed to qualify for international tournaments throughout the season.

FaZe finished third place in the Stage 2 Challengers NA and the North American Last Chance Qualifier. Still, they did not participate in either the two Masters tournaments of the season or the VALORANT Champions 2022.

On the other hand, Quan “dicey” Tran and Phat “supamen” Le were also part of FaZe during the 2022 season but were on the team’s bench. Now, they are active again in the main lineup.

Finally, as we mentioned a few days ago, Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo, former TSM and The Nation player will be the team’s fifth player. Rossy participated a few days ago in the VCL Open qualifiers and was very close to qualifying for the VCL NA 2023. The Nation was a team made up of big-name free agency players like Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip, Braxton “swag” Pierce, and Matthew “Wardell” Yu.

However, The Nation did not meet its goal. They failed to win one of the six VCL spots in the Open Qualifier or LCQ.

FaZe Clan Lineup

VALORANT’s FaZe Clan lineup is as follows:

  • Kevin “poised” Ngo
  • Phat “supamen” Le
  • Quan “dicey” Tran
  • Andrej “babybay” Francisty
  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo

About FaZe Clan

FaZe was one of six teams invited by Riot Games to the NA VCL 2023. They join G2, TSM, M80 Esports, Shopify Rebellion, and The Guard.

This invite was announced several months ago, but FaZe did not want to reveal their lineup until the last minute. Many rumors placed the players mentioned above on the team’s roster. But nothing was certain without official information from the organization.

On the other hand, FaZe had signed Michael “Mas” Smith. He was the team’s analyst during the 2022 season until November, when he was promoted to Head Coach of the team.
