The professional Counter-Strike team FaZe has added David “frozen” Čerňanský to its lineup. This move fills the gap left by the departure of Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, who has switched to Team Liquid.

The player frozen has made the jump from MOUZ to FaZe and is starting a new chapter in his career.

MOUZ says goodbye to Frozen: An era comes to an end

David “frozen” Čerňanský is no longer part of the MOUZ team, the German organization has confirmed. Frozen’s departure marks the end of almost five years of collaboration.

In March 2019, frozen was recruited in a team rebuild that also included Finn “karrigan” Andersen and Özgür “woxic” Eker. During his time at MOUZ, he celebrated his first international tournament successes, including winning the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.

In a statement on X/Twitter, frozen said that this was “probably the most difficult decision” of his entire career. He thanked MOUZ for the opportunity to realize his dreams, win trophies and make friends.

MOUZ has not yet announced a replacement for frozen. Rumor has it that Brollan might take his place for a while, but there is no official information yet.

Following the departure of frozen, MOUZ now consists of:

  • Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek
  • Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo
  • Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
  • Dorian “xertioN” Berman
  • Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen (Coach)

FaZe signs frozen

Shortly after the departure of MOUZ, FaZe came forward with this news and confirmed the addition of the 21 year old player.

FaZe’s full lineup now looks like this:

  • Håvard “rain” Nygaard
  • Helvijs “broky” Saukants
  • Robin “ropz” Kool
  • Finn “karrigan” Andersen
  • David “frozen” Čerňanský
  • Filip “NEO” Kubski (Coach)

frozen continues the tradition of his former MOUZ teammates Finn “karrigan” Andersen and Robin “ropz” Kool and strengthens a team that has won several major tournaments. This collaboration has already borne fruit in the past, most notably during the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.

The upcoming BLAST Premier World Finals from December 13-17 will mark frozen’s debut for FaZe. Although he will have to adjust some of his preferred playing positions, most fans anticipate that the shared experience and existing synergy with his teammates will allow for a seamless integration into the team. FaZe’s CS lineup is considered one of the leading teams in the world, having won three of the first four tournaments since the switch to Counter-Strike 2. With the new formation, FaZe aims to defend its top position in the world of esports and continue to deliver dominant results.
