The partnerships of esports organizations with different private companies deciding to venture into this world of video games continue. This time, we have EXCEL Esports, an esports organization based in London, UK, partnering with HSBC UK bank.

This partnership comes at an ideal time for the team, as it will be responsible for offering all the knowledge about financial services and also aims to help the young people of the organization to develop their respective financial skills.

EXCEL Esports announces partnership with HSBC UK

As mentioned, the London-based organization EXCEL Esports announced a joint partnership with HSBC UK a few hours ago. With this collaboration, young people are expected to learn to develop financial skills to manage their money better.

It is also stressed that the aim is to break down “financial stigmas” and improve the financial literacy of people of all ages.

This partnership will also focus on the EXCEL esports lineups, as they are young people who are young and generally handle large amounts of money. Therefore, HSBC UK will be instrumental in helping these young people learn how to manage all their assets in the best possible way.

In the official press release, it is pointed out that HSBC UK has the necessary expertise and total commitment to providing all its support, help, and knowledge to young people so that they can learn to develop their financial health. On the other hand, it is highlighted that the bank has been providing financial support to people in the communities for more than 35 years.

With partnerships and the HSBC Education Network in the UK, the bank helped more than 445,000 young people in 2022 to develop their financial literacy.

High expectations around this partnership

Becky Moffat, Head of Marketing at HSBC UK, said that the company is very excited about this partnership, as they will now be able to help an esports organization and its young people get the most bang for their buck. As we know, in many opportunities, these young professionals in esports manage exorbitant amounts of money.

On the other hand, Tim Reichert, CEO of Excel Esports, felt very grateful and said that the organization is more than “proud” that HSBC UK provides them with all their knowledge for developing their players. He further notes that he believes that both EXCEL and HSBC are on the same page regarding “innovation and financial health.”
