FlyQuest sign CS:GO and VALORANT female rosters

One of North America’s most popular esports organizations, FlyQuest, has decided to expand its divisions in the competitive scene by signing two new female rosters in CS:GO and VALORANT.

This is undoubtedly a big leap for this organization dedicated to League of Legends in the NA region. However, with all the problems currently in the LCS, the organization is trying to break into new esports for the first time in its history. So now, the organization’s women’s CS:GO and VALORANT teams will be renamed FlyQuest RED.

Through an official statement on its blog and social media, FlyQuest announced the signings of female CS:GO and VALORANT players to play under the FlyQuest RED name.

This move comes when the LCS is in a lot of trouble, and the future of the North American League of Legends scene is completely uncertain. In addition, these VALORANT and CS:GO rosters were previously part of CLG Red. On the other hand, it is worth noting that one of the legends of women’s CS:GO, Stephanie “missharvey” Harvey, will take over as director of FlyQuest RED.

These CLG Red women’s lineups were available two months ago when it was announced that NRG acquired all of CLG and, in addition, its position in the LCS. However, NRG only focused on the League of Legends lineup, leaving the CLG Red girls without support from an organization.

While the VALORANT girls did have a bit more support, as they managed to qualify for the VCT GC North America Series One, and as a result, Moist Moguls, Ludwig’s esports organization, temporarily hosted them. However, this was only for a while, as Ludwig assured them they did not have enough resources to maintain the lineup.

A great semester for FlyQuest

FlyQuest was the team that surprised the most during the LCS Spring Split 2023, as it was practically the whole tournament in first place on the table. However, the team did not have the same performance in the playoffs and finished in third place behind Cloud9 and Golden Guardians.

On the other hand, it is also worth noting that FlyQuest is one of the three LCS organizations that decided to stay with their development program in the NACL. However, the North American League of Legends league is still on tenterhooks after the current hiatus by professional players.

VALORANT’s lineup will prepare to fight in the upcoming VCT GC NA open qualifiers played in July 2023. While the CS:GO lineup will contest the ESL Impact League Finals S3 in the coming hours.
