As we note when writing this article, the qualifiers in South America are nearing completion. However, most regions will have their matches in the first two weeks of September, except the Asia Qualifiers, played at the end of August.
Teams from the world’s seven regions will fight for a berth in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. Then, the winning teams from the Showdowns in the different regions will be assured a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, which will be played in November in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The seven regions and their schedules are as follows:
- South America – August 10-13
- North America – September 7-10
- Eastern Europe – September 15-17
- Western Europe – September 8-10
- Iberia – September 7-10
- Nordics – September 15-17
- Asia – August 26-28
Of all these qualifiers, we have that only Europe can send four teams to the Showdown, while the rest of the regions will only have one quota.
BLAST Premier Fall Showdown
The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 will be played from October 4-8, 2023, in NA and EU, where the winners will earn their place for the Fall Finals 2023.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that the tournament will have the participation of 16 teams, of which we have the following top teams confirmed:
- G2 Esports
- Team Liquid
- Complexity
- OG
- BIG
- Evil Geniuses
Finally, all these teams failed to qualify for the Fall Finals after their disappointing result in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023. On the other hand, seven teams will qualify through qualifiers, while the last three will be invited directly.
