ESL Impact Season 3 format
In the European region, we will have a best-of-three (BO3) format where teams will play each other in their respective groups. The winners of each group will get a direct ticket to the finals in Dallas. Meanwhile, the runners-up in each group will have to play for their lives in the Play-In stage, where they will fight for third place in the LAN in June.
The format will be different in the Americas, as all the teams will play each other twice in the Group Stage. However, the teams from each region of America (NA and SA) will fight for two places in the playoffs. These will be decided between the top two teams from each group in a single elimination playoff bracket.
This means that the first and second-place teams from each region will advance to the finals in Dallas.
