Disguised GC has successfully defeated XSET and FaZe Clan in consecutive games, earning them a spot in the upper bracket final of the NA VCT Game Changers against Version 1.

Popular content creator Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang’s Game Changer roster Disguised GC continued its domination at the VCT Gamer Changers Split 2 with a victory over FaZe Clan. The team fought valiantly on Ascent to secure a 13-10 victory before showcasing a flawless performance on Pearl.

With this victory, the team moves to the upper bracket finals, where they will face the defending Game Changer Champions of North American Version1. It will be challenging for Disguised to overcome Version 1, the team made up of former Cloud9 White and Misfit Black players, since they haven’t lost a match in Split. Fans can watch the match on July 28 to find out if Disguised GC advances to the champions game and continue breaking records for the Twitch streamer.

Disguised GC’s journey so far in Split 2:

Disguised GC made a solid run at the Open Qualifiers, thrashing opponents like FlyQuest RED and Supernova Galaxy to advance to the main event. The team carried over their momentum into the playoffs, putting on an astounding performance against the strong XSET lineup in the first round. Disguised lost the first map Pearl against XSET with a score of 13-6, but they managed to recover and complete a reverse sweep.

The Korean player “unstable” fuelled Disguised’s assault on Bind with a 23-kill performance, giving them the necessary firepower to defeat the seasoned XSET lineup 13-3. The series came down to the third and final map Split, where unstable stepped up for her team again but this time her efforts were brilliantly supported by Hannah “hannah” Reyes. With their 38 kills combined on the third map, the duo helped their team win 13-9 and move on to the semifinal matchup with FaZe.

In the first map against FaZe, Ascent, the squad chooses to take an aggressive stance, quickly cruising to a 4-0 lead. FaZe made a comeback and tied the game at 6-6, but Disguised put on another strong performance in the second half and closed the map 13-10 with the help of unstable’s amazing fragging abilities. After a hard-fought victory, DSG shifted the gear and went on a six-round win streak on their opponents’ pick of Bind. FaZe had no answers to DSG’s Misu attack as she annihilate their defense round by round to help her team punch a 13-3 victory.
