Soon we will enjoy the rework of Aurelion Sol in League of Legends. Riot Games has confirmed that the update of this champion will be made at the launch of patch 13.3 of the game. This means that it will be in early February. So, the dragon will revive in Summoner’s Rift in two weeks.

Aurelion Sol gets an important game update with new spells and an infinite-scale passive. Lately, we don’t see much of this champion in the Rift.

Yelough, one of the developers of Riot Games, has been in charge of offering more details about how Aurelion Sol will work. It was last January 16 when more information emerged and was published in the main Aurelion Sol subreddit.

Aurelion Sol

Aurelion Sol is one of the League of Legends champions currently unpopular with game players. His release was in 2016 with a skill kit about him.

Now, the new spells continue in the same Star Dragon theme, and in addition, they have an elegant astral aesthetic.

As we mentioned, his new kit is based on this champion’s passive ability, which allows him to collect infinite Stardust from enemies. This, in turn, enhances the rest of the spells differently. The more Stardust Aurelion Sol has, the bigger his E-Spell will be. Finally, if he can collect enough dust, it will transform completely.

Aurelion Sol’s Abilities

Passive – Cosmic Creator

Aurelion Sol’s damage abilities grant Stardust, which permanently improves his abilities. The bonus of each skill can be found in its corresponding section.

Q – Breath of Light

Channels towards the cursor for a few seconds, dealing damage to the first enemy hit and reduced damage to nearby enemies. Each time an enemy takes damage for 1 sec, Breath of the Gods deals additional explosive damage. Damage bursts that hit champions grant Stardust.

W – Astral Flight

Aurelion Sol flies over terrain obstacles toward a target location, but nearby enemies see him through the fog of war as he flies. Aurelion Sol can use other abilities while flying. During this period, Breath of the Gods has no cooldown. He can channel it without a time limit and inflicts additional damage.

The remaining cooldown of Astral Flight decreases whenever an enemy champion to whom Aurelion Sol has recently inflicted damage dies.

E – Singularity

Summons a black hole for a few seconds, damaging enemies and slowly pulling them to its center. Singularity grants Stardust per second for each enemy champion in the black hole.

The center of the black hole executes enemies with less than a certain percentage of their maximum health, granting Stardust depending on the type of enemy eliminated.

Stardust increases the size of Singularity (which includes the central area) and the execution threshold.

R – Falling Star / The Skies Descend

Falling Star: Causes a star to slam into the ground, dealing magic damage and stunning enemies hit. Shooting Star grants Stardust for each enemy champion hit.

Stardust increases the size of Shooting Star. Upon accumulating 75 Stardust, Shooting Star will transform into Celestial Dusk the next time it is used.

The Skies Descend: Launches a gigantic star that significantly increases the area of impact, boosts damage dealt, and launches enemies into the air instead of stunning them. It then emits a massive shockwave from the edges of the impact area, dealing damage and slowing hit champions.

Stardust increases the size of the impact area.
