dev1ce thinks s1mple is the best CS:GO player

Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, known as Astralis’ outstanding sniper, has entered the debate about the best CS of all time with modest acceptance. Although he has won four majors, he doesn’t consider himself the leading player, but recognizes his contributions to the scene.

In an interview, dev1ce answered the following when asked if he considers himself the greatest player of all time in CS:GO:

“Nah… For me, s1mple, Sasha is the best. I think he was the best for a long time. I know I’ve won more than him. But it also means a lot to me to be successful in the individual rankings – I was never the best in any one year. For me, it’s natural to look at s1mple. And I also think that ZywOo could keep up with s1mple if he had more years. But I’m happy that I’m the one who has won the most majors and had a big part in it.”

Dev1ce has finished in the top 3 of the HLTV annual rankings five times since 2015, although he has never finished in first place.

The player, who was with NiP for a while and also took some extended time off for his mental health, talks about the important life lessons he learned during that time.Dev1ce explained that despite the success of his team compared to s1mple, he never felt he was the best player in any given year. He also points to the emerging talent of ZywOo, who could potentially challenge s1mple if he continues to consistently excel.
