If the real world were like video games, more than one person would want to be a cab driver. The crazy cab is one of the timeless games that many players have tested.

A very easy-to-understand, a little crazy, and a lot of fun, it works for both arcades and consoles. Even cell phones have their versions. The saga tries to adapt to the present or seeks to take advantage of the fever for remakes and make a relaunch.

This has given rise to a mix of the characteristic elements of the game, with the movie being the fifth element to create a title called MiLE HiGH TAXi.

About Crazy Taxi

Crazy Taxi is an open-world racing video game developed by Hitmaker and published by Sega. The game was first released in arcades in 1999 and later for the Dreamcast console in 2000. Players control a cab driver who must pick up and drop off customers in a fictional city while trying to beat the clock and earn as much money as possible. The game features fast-paced, arcade-style gameplay and a distinctive soundtrack with punk and alternative rock music. Crazy Taxi was well-received critically and commercially, and over the years, several sequels and adaptations have been released for various platforms.

MiLE HiGH TAXi

It is an interesting proposal with a great story developed by Cassius John Adams.

The player is challenged to pick up and carry as many chattering, wacky passengers as he can while dodging mile-high skyscrapers, busy 24th-century urban Skyways, and chattering pedestrians.

Gameplay Features

Three game modes to choose from

  • Normal Game Mode: The player chooses which passengers to pick up and drop off to maximize winnings and extend game time.
  • Challenge mode: The player must deliver specific passengers sequentially to level up.
  • Free Roam Mode: The player can explore freely and learn the city layout, advanced hidden shortcuts, and other secrets.

Experience the unique urban environment of MiLE HiGH TAXi, an aesthetic that contrasts with dystopian sci-fi movies and games.

Choice of three players and cabs:

  • Kyle (male)
  • Ema (female)
  • Skyler (non-binary)

It plays like a retro arcade-style game, common in the Super Nintendo era and early 2000s.

About Cassius

MiLE HiGH TAXi creator Cassius John-Adams takes his passion for video game development with a good sense of humor and makes that clear from the first line of his bio on the official website for this new title.

“My name is Cassius. I’ve been making 3D models and video games for over 30 years. Yet, I’ve never managed to finish (creating) one.”

The creator wanted to give a twist to the mythical cab games without leaving behind the mechanics of driving around the city in search of customers to take them to their destination.
