With the passing of the days, the hype for the Counter-Strike 2 beta has stagnated, as players can only play one map and share clips of gameplay or bugs found. At first, there were a lot of talks that one of the new features of the new shooter would be character animations. However, now some of these movements have been leaked.

There is no doubt that Valve is trying as much as possible to capture players’ attention and, above all, to make many who have decided to stay away return to the game. These new character animations will make the game interactive and more “real.”

CS2 animations leaked

In the last few hours, popular CS:GO and now CS2 leaker Gabe Follower posted what the animations on CS2 characters will look like on his Twitter account.

As we can see, they are celebration gestures that the character will make with empty hands. For all of us old school, one of these gestures reminds us of the Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho and his celebration when scoring a goal.

However, the younger ones might be reminded of the “Chill” gesture that went viral worldwide on Tik Tok. Whichever way you look at it, this gives us a good impression of what will come in CS2, as these are very original gestures that we will enjoy.

However, these celebratory or taunting gestures may not be available in competitive Counter-Strike 2 matches. Instead, according to the leaker himself, these animations may initially be available in Danger Zone mode.

Other new features in CS2

While many thought that the rumors and leaks would end with the beta test of CS2, it is quite the opposite. As the days go by, we know more details on what will come with the official launch of Counter-Strike 2 in the summer of 2023. In addition to the animations on the characters, the change in the hitbox has also been leaked, with some new knifes and graffiti.

Although the clip posted by Gabe Follower shows few animations, he claims that there are many more of them and that several are with more body parts. This means the character can “celebrate” or “mock” his rivals through gestures.

As we have mentioned, all this will likely be available only in the Danger Zone mode because, as we know, this is more for entertainment and to pass the time than anything else. In addition, it is very complicated that these gestures are included in the competitive mode if we consider the big problem with Teabagging in today’s esports scene.
