A 9-3 defensive effort set BIG up for success on Inferno, and although Aurora put together a streak in the second half, the Germans recovered cleanly once their economy was in order. Over on Ancient, Aurora won their CT side 7-5, but once the sides switched, it was comfortable for BIG, who racked up eight defensive rounds with only one in reply to seal the series.
The entire BIG squad contributed throughout the match, with Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski and Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz coming up big on the T side of Inferno, whilst Elias “s1n” Stein put up a strong showing on the T side of Ancient. David “prosus” Hesse and Krimbo may have topped the scoreboard at the end of the series, but the rest of the team played a crucial role in securing the championship title.
