After several months of fans cheering for James “Dash” Patterson’s return to the LCS, their wishes were finally granted. The broadcaster, commentator, and analyst will return to the scene as the host of the LCS finals, to be played in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Recall that more than four months ago, Riot Games released Dash to host his show, where he gave an inside look into the life of a professional LCS player.
Riot Games announces Dash’s return for LCS Spring Split 2023
Through a video on its Twitter account, Riot Games, through the LCS, announced that Dash is returning as a host for the LCS Spring Split 2023 finals.

As all of us LCS fans know, Dash has a long history as a presenter, commentator, and caster in the league scene. However, this will be his first time doing so this season, as over four months ago, Riot announced Dash’s departure from the official broadcast, claiming that they did not need a table host for the 2023 season.

However, so many professional players, other casters, presenters, or commentators up to the LCS community, were asking for Dash’s return, and their wishes have come true.
There is no doubt that all the time Dash was away from the LCS, many fans have highlighted how detrimental he has been to the scene regarding broadcasts.

For this season, changes were implemented in the broadcasts to try to make it a much more interactive environment. They included content creators, match analysis from the players themselves, and that sort of thing. However, Dash’s absence may have put a dent in the quality of the broadcasts and the number of viewers at the matches.
But what did Dash do during these four months?
While it’s true that Dash didn’t stay away from the LCS entirely, the presenter was part of some broadcasts of other titles, such as Age of Empires 2 and VALORANT. In addition, he also continued to make different streams from his personal Twitch channel.
On the other hand, in his show called “Dash Made Me,” the presenter did a lot of dynamics with different LCS players. For example, we saw him doing acrobatics with players on parachutes on several occasions. All this is to show the side of the players that fans do not know.
When will we be able to see Dash back on the scene?
