Xu “Fy” Linsen claims that the owner of Azure Ray was very persistent and tried to get the well-known Dota 2 player back into the lineup. The owner wanted Fy’s address, but he refused to give it to him, because the player felt scared.
The translation comes from CN Dota In A Nutshell on Twitter.
Player put in uncomfortable position by Azure Ray CEO
Xu “Fy” Linsen explained the following: ” The owner of Azure Ray asked me for my address and said that he would try to get me back, which really scared me, so I didn’t tell him.
And he also gave me some information about what will happen after ESL Kuala Lumpur. All I can say is that what will happen after this event will be similar to what happened last year.”
fy: AR’s owner was asking me about my address and said will try to get me back once again which made me really terrified so I didn’t tell him. And he has also given me some information about what will happen after ESL Kuala Lumpur.

It’s not entirely clear what he means by the second part, but he could be referring to Xtreme Gaming, which is owned by the same person, the owner of Azure Ray. The team announced the addition of Wang “Ame” Chunyu on the same day this tweet was posted. Xtreme Gaming is currently three players short of a full lineup.
Who is the owner of Azure Ray?
The owner of both Azure Ray and Xtreme Gaming is Yang Yiqing, and although Fy has not named the man, it should basically be Yang Yiqing.
Yiqing seems to get involved quite often when it comes to the careers of his players.
Recently, Lu “Somnus” Yao announced that he wanted to take a break from professional Dota 2. The player explained that Yang Yiqing had tried to persuade him to continue playing professionally. Nevertheless, Somnus stood by his decision.
Somnus said that Yang Yiqing, the owner of Azure Ray, had urged him to continue his professional career. But Somnus found the training too strenuous and no longer wanted to play at Azure Ray.
Somnus: AR’s owner persuades me to keep playing as a pro but I found that too tiring so I refused that option. The exciting part of being a pro is to compete in lan events, but the tiring part is about long period bootcamping and practicing before every actual tournaments start.

According to the translation, Somnus is reported to have said: “The owner of Azure Ray persuaded me to continue playing pro, but I found it too strenuous, so I turned down the option. The exciting part of being a pro is competing in LAN events, but the tiring part is the long bootcamp and practicing before every actual tournament.”
Yiqing apparently also tried to convince Chalice to pursue his career as well, but he refused like his two colleagues and has since left the team.
On November 28, Yang “Chalice” Shenyi left Team Azure Ray along with Somnus and fy.
