The ultimate $150,000 League of Legends showdown between Twitch sensation Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and popular YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is set to take place in Las Vegas.

MrBeast and Ninja will square off in a best-of-three league of legends showdown, which is scheduled to take place in HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas, Nevada. The showdown will be broadcast live on Crown’s Twitch Channel on July 9th, and it will also feature other popular streamers including Yiliang “Doublefit” Peter Peng and Emily “Emiru” Schun.

On June 11th, MrBeast tweeted that he might be hosting a League of Legends game shortly. When MrBeast tagged Ninja in the subsequent post, calling him out with the remark “you suck,” Ninja replied that he would easily defeat MrBeast in a League of Legends match. Ninja agreed to the offer following some light-hearted banter between the two.

Participants

Both content creators have already revealed their teams and it includes interesting names of streamers and professional League of Legends players. While Emily “Emiru” Schun will be a member of Team Beast, Yiliang “Doublefit” Peter Peng, a former League of Legends professional, will join Team Ninja. With an extensive list of accomplishments, Doublefit is one of the top League of Legends players in NA. While playing for elite squads like Team Liquid, Counter Logic Gaming, and his current organization TSM, he claimed eight LCS championships and a 2nd position finish at Mid-Season Invitation 2019.

Emiru is a skilled League of Legends player, Twitch streamer, cosplayer, and content creator. She is currently a part of One True King, a gaming organization formed by Asmongold, Rich Campbell, Mizkif, and Esfand, among other content creators. A Riot Games illustrator working on the project adopted Emiru’s cosplay as a part of a reference, which partially served as the inspiration for the look of the League champion Gwen in 2021.

The popular content creator of 100 Thieves, Hammoudi “Moe” Abdalrhma, will also be a member of team Mrbeast, the Crown Channel announced yesterday on Twitter. The former League of Legends pro, Moe has 1,691,751 Mastery Points with league champion Yasuo. Crown Channel also confirmed Sapnap’s participation in the event with a teaser video and a tweet. He will be a part of team Ninja along with Ludwig, tyler1, and Doublefit.

The event will be cast by Clayton “Captainflower” Raine.
