VCT Americas 2023 tournament start date

The tournament is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 1, 2023. All games will take place in LAN form at the Riot Games Arena. This arena is located in Los Angeles, United States.

The regular season runs until May 20, and it has a duration of eight weeks. Then the playoffs will be played from May 23 to 28.

The three teams that will compete in the Tokyo Masters and consolidate their qualification for the Champions League at the end of the year will be determined by the regular season and playoffs.

Teams that do not make it to the top three will have one last chance at the LQC of the Americas, which takes place July 15-23.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The VCT Americas will launch in 2023 with a regular season featuring a straight round-robin format where each team plays a best-of-3 series once weekly and a single super week with two series.

The tournament’s first phase runs from April 1 to May 20, each week on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

The top six teams qualify for the double-elimination key playoffs. This phase of the tournament runs from May 23 to 28. After that, the top three teams qualify for the Tokyo Masters and the VCT Champions.
