The MLBB MPL Season 11 in the Philippines begins on February 17, with eight teams competing for a prize purse of $150,000. The first phase, known as the Regular Season, lasts two months and ends on March 16. This first phase is played offline at the Shooting Gallery Studios. The start date for the playoffs has not yet been announced.

MLBB MPL season 11 format in the Philippines

Compared to the previous Season, the framework of the competition has a similar structure. In the first round, all matches will be played in a best-of-three, double round-robin system (Bo3). After that, all teams will play fourteen matches, with the top six advancing to the next round.

The teams ranked third through sixth in the playoff standings will compete in a single-elimination quarterfinal round. On the other hand, the first and second-ranked teams will compete in a two-game playoff and be seeded in the semifinals. All matches will be best-of-five, except for the final, which will be best-of-seven.

For this Season, the distribution of points in each match has not changed from the previous edition.

A team will receive three points if it defeats its opponent by a score of 2-0 but only two points if it loses by a score of 2-1. On the other hand, a team that loses 1-2 will receive one point, while a team that loses 0-2 will receive no points.

  • Winning team 2-0: 3 points
  • Winning team 2-1: 2 points
  • Losing team 1-2: one point
  • Losing team 0-2: 0 points

Regular Season

The Regular Season will last eight weeks, with games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. ECHO and Blacklist, finalists of the MLBB M4 World Championship, will face off first in the competition. TNC and Nexplay Evos will face off after them.

The winner of the 10th MLBB MPL PH Season 10 was Blacklist International, with ECHO in second place. In third and fourth place were RSG Philippines and Brean Esports. Nexplay Evos had a bad run and failed to advance to the playoffs. However, the team has made several adjustments to its roster and will try to win its first title.

In the last three world championships, the Philippine teams are the winners, dominating the international MLBB scene throughout that time. The competition is famous for its exciting bouts.
