16 teams expected for MLBB competition at Phygital Games of the Future 2024

Some of the best teams in the world of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are expected to face off at the Games of the Future in Kazan, Russia. 

With 16 teams across the globe vying for xxx prize pool, who are expected to compete for the different participating squads?

Current MLBB World Champions AP.Bren leads the pack from the Philippines, fielding their entire roster lineup from the M5 World Championship: Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson, Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, Vincent “Pando” Unigo, and David “FlapTzy” Canon.

M3 World Champions Blacklist International will also bring out a stellar lineup, composed of the so-called “MV3” – Salic “Hadji” Imam, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, and Edward “Edward” Dapadap. They’ll be bringing with them Stephen “Sensui” Castillo and Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo.

ONIC Indonesia is also coming in strong, also bringing with them their stellar lineup led by Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol, Calvin “CW” Winata, Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar, M. Satrya “Butsss” Sanubari, and Nicky “Kiboy” Fernando.

Pinoy imports Borris “Brusko” Abarquez and John Darry “1rrad” Marquez, meanwhile, will beef up Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi MLBB squad, alongside Muhammad “Clayyy” Nurhasan, Schevenko David “Skylar” Tendean, and Andre “Banana” Putra. Brusko last played for MINANA EVOS in the Philippines, while 1rrad used to be part of 2023 MPLI Champion team of RSG Philippines.

Meanwhile, the Burmese Ghouls from Myanmar are also expected to attend, and their new head coach Dale Vitug is also expected to lead the pack.

Other teams expected to take part are the Royal Cybersport Club from host nation Russia, Burn x Flash from Cambodia, China’s Keep Best Gaming (KBG), Nightmare Esports from Laos, Twisted Minds from Saudi Arabia, Deus Vult from EECA, Team Lilgun from Mongolia, Team Flash from Singapore, and S2G from Turkiye.

The said teams will play at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center in Tatarstan, Russia from February 26 to March 2, for a US$1 Million prize pool, with the champion taking home US$350,000.

This MLBB contest is the MOBA leg of the Games of the Future tournament, which also hosts different sports and esports.
