ZywOo is a better AWPer than the rest? – Let’s find out why

Whenever we talk about the CS:GO competitive scene, we undoubtedly bring up the names of players who have marked an era and are undoubtedly among the best in the world. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, the French star of Team Vitality, is one of these players, who has shared with Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev the title of the best player in the world in recent years.

However, speaking of statistics, we can mention that ZywOo may be a “better” AWPer than s1mple and the rest of the players of this role currently on the scene. For nobody is a secret that this season is, for now, brilliant for ZywOo, and, besides having a much higher Rating than the rest of the AWPers in the professional scene, he also dominates a statistic that many of us ignore.

ZywOo is the best riffler of all AWPers in the world

As we know, players who use the AWP in CS:GO generally have an average level using the rest of the weapons in the game, especially rifles like the M4A4/M4A1-S and the AK-47. However, ZywOo is quite the opposite, as he is exceptionally talented with every weapon he uses. As a result, we can affirm that the Frenchman is the best riffler among all AWPers in the world.

Furthermore, popular CS:GO caster Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez shared some mind-blowing stats about ZywOo compared to the other AWPers in the scene.

There is no doubt that this is phenomenal for Team Vitality since they have a player with all the necessary tools to achieve victories. It’s no secret that ZywOo is exceptionally talented with the AWP, but when the team needs the Frenchman’s firepower or to open up a site with an M4 or AK, ZywOo will do it perfectly.

On the other hand, it’s also worth mentioning that this is very useful for teams on maps like Vertigo and Inferno, especially on the T-side. Remember that these maps don’t have wide-open fields that AWPers could use to get multiple kills.

Vitality is less dependent on an AWP

ZywOo’s extraordinary ability with the other weapons gives Team Vitality much more possibilities when setting up plays in a match. As a result, the team does not depend exclusively on an AWP to be able to make any move.

On the other hand, this also directly affects the economy of the teams since, when there is no need to buy AWP in a row, the teams can save money and thus arm themselves better for the following rounds.

There is no doubt that ZywOo will more than likely win the CS:GO best player trophy when the 2023 season ends. However, there are still five long months left where anything can happen. Likewise, the fact that ZywOo won the Paris Major with Team Vitality in May means he has a long way to go in his race for World MVP.
