A sniper rifle that had become a strong contender for best sniper in Modern Warfare III is also a very viable option for Warzone Mobile.

The KATT-AMR started off strong with a powerful one-hit potential to the head, and can still heavily damage other parts of the body effectively, even for armored targets. However, recent nerfs made it a close second to the now-dominant XRK Stalker.

What are some of the best attachments for this .50-caliber anti-materiel sniper rifle? We tested it out during both the Limited Release and the current play and found this build to work!

NOTE: The absence of a laser upgrade here is because of a current bug that does not allow lasers to be installed on the KATT-AMR. We will update this article with the barrel attachments as soon as they become available.

BARREL: ZANG-34 Barrel (unlocked at level 17)

The longest barrel available for the KATT-AMR effectively extends the range of this beast, allowing for better sniper positions especially from high ground areas.

MUZZLE: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor XL (unlocked at Level 16)

One of the more popular suppressor choices in the game, the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor balances bullet velocity with its core benefit: recoil control. This allows you to have quieter shots with accuracy and ease of use, same as the suppressor’s AR counterparts.

BOLT: Ephemeral Quickbolt (unlocked at Level 12)

A must for quicker follow-up shots, the Ephemeral Quickbolt allows for faster firing, especially when engaging multiple targets.

GRIP: Singer LR Grip (unlocked at level 6)

This grip option allows for better flinch resistance and aiming idle stability, allowing the user to effectively snipe from a distance and respond effectively to different threats.

AMMUNITION: .50 Caliber Spire Point Rounds (unlocked at Level 16)

The spire point rounds on the KATT-AMR allows for better bullet velocity and damage range per shot, allowing engagements against targets at farther distances without too much of a dropoff.

OPTIONAL REPLACEMENTS:

AMMUNITION: .50 Caliber High Grain Rounds (unlocked by leveling the KATT-AMR to Level 4)

The .50-caliber High Grain rounds attachment allows the KATT-AMR to have better penetration values while also having a damage range and bullet velocity buff.

MAGAZINE: 7-Round Mags (unlocked at Level 9)

In place of spire point ammo, better magazine capacities may be used for prolonged sniping engagements.

 

These attachments can help you make the most out of the KATT-AMR and make it an effective sniper weapon that can be feared by your enemies.
