Legion Commander excels in many ways and the most recent Dota 2 patches have made her remarkably strong and versatile. LC’s win rate is 54.5%, which clearly indicates that it’s relatively easy to succeed if you’re competent with the hero.

The size of the map and the huge number of jungle camps, combined with LC’s natural abilities, have made it possible to jungle again from an early level. But you don’t have to jungle. Just play your usual offlane game and you’ll create huge problems for the enemy team.

This item, combined with LC’s natural tankiness, will help you get a lot of easy kills that can severely disrupt the enemy team’s map movement and farming patterns.

When you play LC, your objective is to ruin someone’s game. Ideally, that someone should be the enemy carry. But if you can get their mid laner or offlaner, that’s good too. Wait for your ultimate to be available and then hunt down key targets using a Shadow Blade or a Blink Dagger.

Many people prefer to buy a Blink Dagger because it’s cheaper and gives you an easier way to initiate. Some players will try to protect themselves against your Duel using a Linken’s Sphere. In anticipation of this, you should build a Heaven’s Halberd. It costs just 3550 gold and gives you everything you need, as well as the ability to break Linken’s.
