Virtus.pro are Roobet Cup 2023 Champions

Virtus.pro takes an excellent 2-1 win over Monte to become champions of the Roobet Cup 2023

We expected an even and balanced Grand Final, and we got it, as both Monte and VP left everything in each round to take the victory. However, the Russian team was more determined and won the series 2-1.

The series took place in Overpass, Anubis, and Mirage.

Overpass

It all started at Overpass, VP’s map pick, where we had an intense match from start to finish. In the first half, VP started very well on their T Side, and they achieved an excellent partial victory by 7-5.

Then, at the change of sides, Monte did the same, as with an aggressive offense, they managed to get close on the scoreboard. However, this was insufficient since they were left in 10 rounds and fell by 10-13.

Anubis

The teams then moved to Anubis, Monte’s map pick, where the Ukrainian squad hit back in full to take the win and even the series 1-1.

In the first half, we enjoyed a very intense and balanced match, which ended with an even score of 6-6. This, without a doubt, left both teams with a good chance of taking the win.

However, at the change of sides, Monte’s offense stuck out its chest to win 7 of 11 rounds to seal their 13-10 victory.

Mirage

Finally, the teams arrived at Mirage, the Decider Map, where VP annihilated Monte with an excellent score of 13-4.

In the first half, Monte did what they could on their T Side and took 4 rounds out of the 12 contested. However, the worst came with the change of sides for Monte, as their defense could not stop the VP boys’ approaches, and they lost the first 5 rounds. As a result, VP took the 13-4 victory to become champions of the Roobet Cup 2023.
