The second week of the popular VCT EMEA League has come to an end after featuring five thrilling matches. Here are the complete results.

The VCT EMEA League made a resounding comeback on Wednesday with a highly charged clash between Team Vitality and FUT Esports. Despite having a 2-0 record going into the game, Vitality struggled against FUT’s offensive play on Lotus in the first game of the series.

For the first time in the League, Vitality put on a subpar performance, only managing to win four rounds as FUT handily defeated them 13-4. The team continued their momentum into Haven, where Knour ‘qw1’ Šahin pulled off an impressive 23-kill performance to help FUT overcame Vitality and hand them their first defeat at VCT EMEA League.

Fnatic and NAVI shine on Day 2

Fnatic’s VCT EMEA campaign got off to a solid start after they defeated Giants and BBL Esports in the Super Week. Due to Emir “Alfajer” Beder’s visa-related concerns, Fnatic experienced a minor setback in Week 1 and was forced to use their backup player Maks “kamyk” Rychlewski, who eventually did very well for the team. With their core group back together for Week 2, the team, however, seemed more formidable than ever against Team Heretics.

The VCT LOCK//IN winners easily cursed through a 13-3 victory on Icebox, a map that is soon to be removed from Valorant’s competitive map pool to make place for the revamped Bind. Before Heretics had a chance to try to make things right, Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev and his teammates sealed the deal on Ascent with a 13-6 victory.

Earlier in the day, NAVI and BBL engaged in another heated best-of-three battle. Despite all of BBL’s attempts, NAVI was able to navigate to a 2-0 victory and capture their second triumph in the EMEA league with some outstanding performances on Ascent and Fracture.

Team Liquid and Giants Gaming emerge victorious in Day 3 matchups

Team Liquid continued their winning form in the second week, utterly destroying Karmine Corp on Ascent and Split to clinch their second victory in the league. With 36 kills over the two maps, Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel stood out for Liquid and helped his team secure a clear position in the points standings.

Giants defeated KOI in the second match with a dominant performance in the best-of-three series, earning their first-ever victory in the VCT EMEA League. The team annihilated KOI on Lotus, only allowing them one round throughout the map before closing the series with a hard-fought 13-11 win on Ascent.
