The second week of the LEC Summer Split 2023 has started, and all teams played their fourth match of the tournament. For now, we have MAD Lions as the only team that remains inspired and undefeated with four wins. In addition, we also highlight the great level of play being demonstrated by Fnatic, who are in the second position of the table with a 3-1 record.

Likewise, it is also worth mentioning the start of Split of G2 Esports and Team Heretics, who have a 3-1 record and are firm candidates to qualify for the Group Stage. On the other hand, the other side of the coin is, surprisingly, Team Vitality, who have a 1-3 record in the first four games played. They are joined by several teams, such as Astralis, EXCEL, KOI, and SK Gaming, but there is no doubt that Vitality’s situation is complicated.

Let’s see what happened on the fourth day of the LEC Summer Split 2023.

Razork leads Fnatic to their third win of the tournament

There is no doubt that the team that stood out at the start of the second week of the LEC Summer Split season was Fnatic, who beat KOI for their third win in the tournament. The Black&Orange returned to winning ways after a tough loss to G2 Esports at the end of the first week. Moreover, this was all thanks to the exemplary performance of Ivan “Razork” Martin, who overwhelmed KOI in every way.

While he may be the King of SoloQ in Europe, Razork aims to become the King of the LEC. The 22-year-old Spaniard is showing that his level of play is at its best, reaffirming it with his performance against KOI. In addition, the Spanish jungler also took care of crumbling all the illusions of a KOI who was trying to place his record at 2-2.

The rest of the games were quick and a bit boring

We all expected the teams to come in with a lot of solvency and, above all, a lot of coolness to take a win starting this second week. However, it was quite the opposite, as the matches were completely over and ended extremely quickly.

The day’s first match saw Team BDS crush SK Gaming in just 26:25 minutes. Then, we had a very pleasant surprise to witness the first victory of the tournament for EXCEL Esports against Team Heretics, who lost undefeated on this day. The British squad had Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu completely inspired, and thanks to him, they managed to take the victory.

The penultimate match of the day saw G2 Esports crush Team Vitality in 26:07 minutes. The Winter Split 2023 champions showed a lot of superiority thanks to Rasmus “Caps” Winther, who won the MVP of the match.

Finally, MAD Lions, the reigning Spring Split champions, proved they are in spectacular form by winning over Astralis in 26:50 minutes. As a result, the Spanish squad is on top of the standings with a 4-0 record and remains the only undefeated team in the tournament.
