Recently, Call of Duty developers have revealed some new features to Warzone. Among the new features, they have revealed that the game’s new map is Urzikstan.

Urzikstan – The new Warzone map

During the COD Next Livestream and some live games with content creators and professionals, Activision revealed the new Warzone map, Urzikstan. While early reviews are mixed, comparisons to Verdansk cannot be overlooked.

While Activision describes Urzikstan as “a huge urban battlefield with waterways and desert combat,” many can’t help but draw comparisons to Verdansk from Warzone 1. Players can hide in many buildings because many urban areas have tall, multi-story buildings.

Urzikstan features several previous CoD multiplayer maps as places of interest on the map. Some map locations are named, and some are not, just like previous Warzone maps. Countdown, Call of Duty 4, and Overwatch, from the 2011 version of MW3, are two of the levels identified in the game’s showcase.

On the other hand, we could see that the map is full of shopping stations and UAV towers, among other features that game fans recognize. There are also additional elements, such as a player-driven train and horizontal zip lines between skyscrapers.

POIs of Urzikstan – The new Warzone map

The first season of Modern Warfare 3 will be released in December, and with it will come a new Warzone battle royale experience. In this new season, Al Mazrah will be replaced by Urzikstan as the game’s main map due to major upcoming improvements.

Urzikstan will be one of the three Warzone maps after the new integration of Ashika Island, one of the current tiny Resurgence maps, and Vondel. On the other hand, Ashika Island will be the fourth large-scale map in Warzone history, after Verdansk, Caldera, and Al Mazrah. Remember that each of these maps has represented a significant change and the beginning of a new era in Call of Duty BR.

On the other hand, thanks to significant modifications in mobility, the gameplay will be in the style often seen in Verdansk and Caldera. At the same time, fans anticipate that Modern Warfare 3 will feature the 16 classic maps from MW2 (2009) updated for the current era.
