Unlock new Crown faction missions in Warzone 2 DMZ

With the arrival of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 and Warzone 2, we have many updates for our beloved DMZ mode. One of many is the arrival of a new faction: Crown.

Now, this faction’s missions are fully available for DMZ mode lovers to complete and exfiltrate with the coveted rewards. However, you must first unlock the faction to complete the missions.

What is the Crown faction in DMZ mode?

For those who are dabbling in DMZ mode for the first time, we should quickly explain that Al Mazrah has four factions fighting to take control of the island. Each faction provides players with missions they must complete in DMZ mode to earn great rewards at the end of the game.

The current factions are:

• Legion
• White Lotus
• Black Mous
• Crown

In this game mode, you do not need to complete the tasks to win the game. Instead, players can collect the loot they want all over the map and exfiltrate whenever they want. However, many players want additional rewards before the end of the game.

Unlocking the Crown faction missions in DMZ mode

Players who want to obtain weapon blueprints and business cards as rewards must complete the Crown faction missions when exploring Al Mazrah. However, to access these DMZ mode missions, there is one requirement that, for many, is impossible to complete: you must have Modern Warfare 2, i.e., the whole game.

Now, if you have the entire game, you have to complete the last first-level mission of the White Lotus faction called Stronghold Reacquisition. To get to this point, you must complete five of the six available level 1 missions of the White Lotus faction.

These level 1 missions are as follows:

• Make Contact
• Hostiles Located
• Cashier
• Information Seeker
• Convenience
• Committed Shopper

Remember that in DMZ mode, you must select the mission you want to complete before starting the game. On the other hand, it is also possible to select three simultaneously, so choose the ones you can complete in one go.

Completing the Stronghold Reacquisition

To complete the White Lotus mission, Stronghold Reacquisition, you first need to get the fortress key, which is entirely different from the access cards in Building 21. These keys can unlock any fortress in the games, and you cannot take them with you at the time of exfiltration.

To get this fortress key, you must do what all of us CoD lovers love the most: kill enemies. Look for the AI fighters around the fortresses and eliminate them, then go through all the stash they have left on the ground to see if you are lucky to find the key.

Another way to get the key is to buy it from the supply stations scattered around Al Mazrah. However, this method is random, as the items available in the stores are not always the same.

I already have the key; now, what do I do?

If you already got the key, you must go to any of the fortresses that are in Al Mazrah and use the key on the gray door with a large white “X” painted in the middle. Upon entering, you must eliminate all of the heavily armed and armored AI fighters. Finally, after eliminating them all, you will see a folder on the ground; pick it up, and that’s it; you will have finished the mission.

You do not need to exfiltrate for the mission to be completed. However, we recommend you do so to keep the loot and a large amount of XP.

Once you have done this, you will have unlocked the Crown Faction missions in Warzone 2 DMZ mode.
