Thunderpick announce $600,000 CS:GO tournament

In the last few hours, it was announced that Thunderpick, an online casino and esports betting site, will be in charge of organizing a CS:GO World Tournament, which will have a prize pool of $600,000. Is the tournament played on CS:GO or CS2?

With the anticipation surrounding the release of Counter-Strike 2, as the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 start dates are known, it stands to reason that this title will be played. However, if Counter-Strike 2 is released in the middle of the tournament, the organizers noted that the switch would be made immediately to CS2.
