Popular Dota 2 streamer Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski’s Dota 2 team, Team Bald Reborn, announced they would not be participating in the DPC WEU Tour 3 closed qualifiers due to problems with players’ schedules.

While it is an important tournament that the team will miss, Gorgc has given why he and his teammates will not be able to play the matches.

Gorgc reveals the reasons why Team Bad Reborn won’t play the DPC qualifiers

Through a stream, Gorgc revealed that his Dota 2 team, Team Bad Reborn, will not play the DPC WEU Tour 3 closed qualifiers. According to the streamer, one of the players must attend a wedding, so he is not available to play. Another will have to study for some exams. At the same time, he points out that he has commitments with OG and his role as a content creator.

There is no doubt that this is unfortunate news, as the team just announced a new lineup and were convinced they could regain their spot in Division II.

Gorgc said in the stream that “Team Baldo,” as he refers to his Dota 2 team, will not be able to attend the closed qualifiers for the DPC WEU Tour 3 due to player scheduling issues. In addition, he points out what we mentioned earlier, that one of the guys will have to attend a wedding, another has exams, and he has commitments as a content creator and streamer with OG. As a result, these three activities “overlap, ” making it impossible for the team to play.

In addition, the Dota 2 streamer also noted that he had hoped to have more time to be able to return to DPC WEU Division II, but apparently, he will not. As a result, Gorgc notes that he prefers the team not to play the closed qualifiers because if they win them, they will likely have to jump ship from the DPC WEU Tour 3: Division II due to weather issues.

A new lineup and can’t debut

While it is true that Team Bald Reborn announced a new lineup a few days ago and surprised many with Steve “Xcalibur” Ye returning to the team, the signing of Moiez “symetricaL” Lin and new talent Alireza “Crash” M, everything seems to indicate that the debut on the scene will have to wait a little longer.

On the other hand, it is not yet certain that the team will stay together for the rest of the season, as the possibility of competing together in Division II of the DPC WEU Tour 3 was the players’ goal. Especially for those like Xcalibur and symetricaL, who have more experience in the scene and would possibly be eager to debut with the team.

We will only have to wait for some official information from Gorgc about what will happen with his team. We will also have to wait and see if players abandon the ship to join other projects.
