After more than three months on the BIG bench, Florian “syrsoN” Rische could leave the organization in the next few days and have several options to continue his career at the highest competitive level.

SyrsoN has been one of the players that kept BIG afloat for the past three years, and, without a doubt, his talent with the AWP is extremely great. However, the team has not performed well recently and has adjusted its roster to correct the situation.

According to published reports, syrsoN would be in talks with several Tier 1 and other Tier 2 teams to return to the scene as soon as possible.

syrsoN would be leaving BIG in the next few days

According to a report by esports journalist Alejandro “anonimotum” Gomis, the 27-year-old experienced AWPer, syrsoN, is close to leaving the organization that has been his home for the past three years. In addition, Gomis claims that syrsoN is in talks with teams such as Team Falcons and OG, as well as different teams within the TOP 15 of the CS:GO world rankings.

The German AWPer is a coveted piece on the market currently, considering that the transition for Counter-Strike 2 will begin very soon. Moreover, any team would be delighted to have an experienced player in their squad in the new challenges that are yet to come.

Recall that syrsoN decided to step away from the starting lineup of BIG in mid-February 2023, citing “personal reasons.”. As a result, the team had to move quickly in looking for a replacement and had to promote from their academy team to Marcel “hyped” Köhn.

However, since syrsoN left the team’s lineup, BIG has not found a way to have good results in any of the tournaments they have participated in. Call them Tier 1 or Tier 2 tournaments; BIG has failed to rise to the occasion, and they have not even made it to a grand final.

About syrsoN

The 27-year-old German AWPer, syrsoN, is still an experienced player in the professional CS:GO scene. His beginnings were in Counter-Strike: Source in 2012, just before he leaped CS:GO with the game’s launch.

During his career, the German has been part of teams such as BLUEJAYS, Team ALTERNATE, Sprout, and most recently, BIG. In addition, his track record includes important victories in Tier 1 tournaments such as Roobet Cup 2022, BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021, and DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Europe.

Now, syrsoN is looking for a new home that will allow him to deploy his full potential and, in addition, to use all his experience to return to his highest competitive level.
