What was a rumor in recent weeks is now fully confirmed. It is the return of Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek to his early career home, MOUZ, for the second half of 2023 and, of course, for the team’s transition to CS2.

This was one of the many announcements we had been waiting for days, as siuhy’s hours at Team GamerLegion were numbered. Moreover, the young Polish IGL is among the most coveted in the Counter-Strike competitive scene.

Now, siuhy arrives at MOUZ’s main lineup with the firm conviction to prove his full potential in leading a squad in a really important organization.

MOUZ announce the signing of siuhy

Through an official statement on its Twitter account, MOUZ announced the signing of siuhy ahead of the second half of 2023 and, of course, for the start of the CS2 era.

As we mentioned, this move marks siuhy’s return to what was his home in his early days as a pro, as the Pole was part of MOUZ NXT, the organization’s Academy team, for over a year. However, unlike Jon “JDC” de Castro, Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás, and Dorian “xertioN” Berman, siuhy was unable to climb to the main roster.

As a result, the young Polish IGL signed for Team GamerLeguion at the end of 2022 and quickly became one of the best game leaders on the European scene. In addition, it is worth remembering that siuhy led GamerLegion to the Grand Final of the Paris Major against Team Vitality, a spectacular achievement for a Tier 2 team.

Siuhy will have to lead a team with the experienced Christopher “dexter” Nong as IGL for the last two seasons. He also has the complicated task of returning this iconic organization to the top of the competitive scene. MOUZ’s most notable success in recent years is the TOP 4 at the IEM Rio Major 2022.

Siuhy inspired to return to MOUZ

In the video announcing his signing to MOUZ, siuhy is very confident that the team will have a rebirth. According to siuhy, he returns to one of the “most prestigious” teams in Counter-Strike history. In addition, the 20-year-old IGLer notes that he will give his best to lead the team and take them to be one of the best in the world.

MOUZ’s lineup is one of the youngest in the entire Counter-Strike Tier 1 competitive scene. Furthermore, if the organization decides to promote Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo from MOUZ NXT to fill the JDC spot, the team’s average age would be under 20 years old.

The MOUZ lineup, for now, remains as follows:

  • David “frozen” Čerňanský
  • Torzsi
  • xertioN
  • siuhy
  • Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen – Head Coach
