After many complaints from the community about server problems in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, Activision finally acknowledged the problems and announced that it will take action. However, it is unknown when the solution to these problems will arrive, as they may take some time.

Since the launch of MWII season 2 and Warzone 2, the servers have been plagued with lag problems or crashes that completely break every game. On many occasions, games were well underway, and the server would exhibit lag glitches; some players could “finish” games with 1000 ping, while others were kicked out of the lobby.

There’s nothing more desperate than having 20 kills in Warzone 2 and the game kicking you out because of a server problem, or you’re about to win a Hardpoint in Hotel, and the same thing happens to you.

Activision acknowledges server problems in MWII and Warzone 2

After many complaints from the community on social networks and from different streamers through their Twitch channels, Activision finally acknowledges the problems with their servers. They also claim that they are currently working to fix them.

Activision said:

“We are investigating reports of server-related gameplay issues and are actively working to resolve them. ”

While the problems have come after the launch of Season 2 in February, this past month, they have become much more common. As a result, the enthusiastic community that returned to the game once again filed disagreements, and consequently, the game’s popularity started to fall again.

As we can see, Activision released a statement acknowledging the problem. In addition, they shared a Trello board for players to witness the tracking of bugs in Activision’s games.

The community speaks out with sarcasm

As expected, the community immediately reacted to the announcement, and the responses were often sarcastic. However, not all responses were this way; other players were happy that Activision would finally take action. At the same time, others continue to show their frustration at being banned or having an excessive ping on their games.

On the other hand, if any gamer in the community searches anywhere, be it Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, or another social network, for anything regarding lag in MWII, they will find thousands of instances of it. Regardless, the community that loves the game got used to these problems, but there is no doubt that something very serious had to have happened for Activision to make this statement.

After this, Activision did not comment any further, and the fact that they have shared the board on Trello indicates that the developers want the players to know firsthand all the progress regarding the game’s bugs or issues. Unfortunately, the solutions are not yet on this board, so the problems may persist.
