This marks the end of a highly successful career under the EDward Gaming banner since joining the team in March 2016. Moreover, this will be the third team in Scout’s professional career, as he played for the famous SK Telecom T1 team in his early days.
Now, the 24-year-old extraordinaire will team up with Korea’s Lee “Tarzan” Seung-Yong, forming a solid LNG Esports team with its sights set on the 2023 LPL championship.
This pair of experienced players will have to guide all the younger and inexperienced team members in their mission to reach the playoffs and reach the top in different international competitions.
About Scout
Scout is a potent player in the Mid Laner position, which brings a wealth of experience thanks to countless participations in playoffs, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), and Worlds. However, let’s remember that his most significant achievement has been nothing more and nothing less than winning the Summoner’s Cup in 2021 and, in addition, being the MVP of the grand final.
Scout is one of the world’s most versatile players in the League of Legends competitive scene. For example, in 2022, he used 13 championships throughout the Summer Split, which is not typical for many highly competitive professionals.
EDward Gaming
In the season just ended, EDward Gaming was eliminated from Worlds by the Cinderella of this championship and eventual champion, DRX.
Likewise, Scout accumulated some impressive statistics, finishing in third place regarding the most average severe damage to champions in the group stage.
Future of LNG Esports
There is no doubt that Scout should exponentially increase his level of play in this new LNG Esports lineup.
The team’s main objective is for Scout and Tarzan to complement each other perfectly. This is so that they acquire a perfect synergy at the beginning of the season.
This would undoubtedly make LNG Esports an unexpected choice to go as far as possible in the LPL Spring Split playoffs in 2023.
