Favorites

Cloud9 are the big favorites to win the Eastern European edition of the tournament because of their outstanding performance in the ESL Pro League, where they advanced to the playoffs thanks to the performance of Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov.

The other top 30 teams competing in the Eastern European Masters are in good form and will be tough competition for Cloud9. Eternal Fire recently won the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals, Bad News Eagles finished runners-up in the same tournament and Aurora has already won a CCT Online event this year and qualified for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR.

In the Western European Masters, the favorites are not quite as clear. 9INE and GamerLegion both have a good chance of winning the tournament. Polish team 9INE has developed tremendously since bringing Olek “hades” Miskiewicz to the team. Miskiewicz, won the OMEN WGR Challenge and qualified for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR.

GamerLegion has already won the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2 this year, placed first in the CCT West Europe Series 1 and qualified for the RMR. The RES Western European Masters Spring will take place from March 3rd to 5th, with the Eastern European Masters scheduled for March 10th to 12th.
