Report: 00 Nation and 9z to trade AWPers

The Brazilian organization 00 Nation and the Argentinean 9z are on the verge of exchanging their sniper position players.

According to the report of Roque Marques from the web portal Dust2 Brasil, a deal is practically closed between these two teams. Santino “try” Rigal would return at his request to his former team, 9z, while 00 Nations would add Lucas “nqz” Soares to their ranks.

If this AWPers exchange happens, Lucas “nqz” Soares has decided to sign with 00 Nation instead of Fluxo, the team that tried to incorporate the player a few weeks ago.

There is no doubt that this move would come about because of Try’s willingness to return to 9z, and 00 Nation does not frown upon adding nqz.

Santino “try” Rigal is one of the giant gems in South American CS:GO. The AWPer signed for Brazilian team 00 Nation in early 2022 after an extraordinary stint at 9z Team, where they went on to eliminate Team Vitality in the quarterfinals of the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown.

According to reports, 00 Nation began considering changing the squad after a disappointing performance at the IEM Rio Major 2022, played on their home turf. In this tournament, the Brazilians had a 0-3 record, losing in the Challenger Stage to FURIA, IHC, and Bad News Eagles.

9z’s interest in the return of Try

9z’s interest in the recovery of Try to the team is not new. In mid-season, they were close to bringing back their AWPer.

On the other hand, Marques himself said that nqz had no plans to sign for 00 Nation, as the Brazilian had an agreement with Fluxo, which was taken for granted.

This Brazilian AWPer would replace Lucas “lux” Meneghino, while Wilton “zews” Prado would be the team’s new coach. However, after learning of Try’s wishes, 00 Nation negotiated benefits for both parties.

00 Nation and its disappointing results

Marcelo “coldzera” David’s team has not had the expected results recently. The only title the organization won in 2022 was in the ESL Brasil Premier League S13.

Without going too far, 9z Team performed much better than them in the IEM Rio Major. The Argentine team won two matches in the Challengers Stage, but their losses against GamerLegion, BIG, and Fnatic eliminated them from the tournament.

00 Nation will play in the ESL Pro League Season 17: South American Conference Stage, which starts next January 18. Therefore, if this rumor is valid, they will have to make it official in the next few days to prepare themselves in the best possible way.
