The movements in the lineups of esports teams are becoming increasingly frequent. It doesn’t matter what time of the year, whether teams are in the middle of a competition or simply amid a good result. Organizations have shown that, as far as possible, they will always make moves that serve to improve their teams, whoever they like.
Right now, there is a situation regarding a team that has qualified for the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR A, Viperio. Unfortunately, the organization has decided to separate their paths with cryths, even though they have helped them to achieve the mentioned qualification.
Cryths will not be part of Viperio at the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR A
The British organization, Viperio, announced that Rory “cryths” Ursell would not be part of the team competing in the RMR for the Paris Major. On the other hand, they also announced the signing of Matas “Extinct” Strumila to complete the team’s starting lineup for these qualifiers.

Cryths was a last-minute replacement for Viperio for the RMR qualifiers, as James “bevve” Slinn parted ways with the team’s lineup before the start of the tournament, citing personal issues.
Devastated I couldn’t play due to personal circumstances but there was no chance in making it with me, proud of the boys over at @viperioesports and wouldn’t change it for the world. Enjoy Copenhagen ❤️👏

There is no doubt that the British player helped Viperio work their way through the entire RMR open qualifier beating teams like boomer demons, Forward, and Tricked. Then in the closed qualifier, they had a great performance to finish with a 3-2 record, beating 1WIN, PGE Turow, and SAW. The team’s losses came in matches against Astralis and Into the Breach.
The player was very disappointed at this situation on his Twitter account, where he posted:
“ngl this feels like absolute shit, everything just ripped away like that. I just wish I could 5 punch combo stick and move at the rmr. #back2retirement.”

We could see his best possible level in the short time cryths played for Viperio. In the closed qualifiers, the 21-year-old player finished with a 1.08 Rating, according to HLTV, in eight maps played with the team. In addition, we can highlight that he was the second-best player on his team in the closed qualifiers for RMR Europe.
The community does not agree with this situation and considers it to be an unfair change
Many community members and followers of British CS:GO and Viperio considered this move unfair to the player. Many made comments in support of the player and hailed “justice” for him.
justice for cryths

Like this, many identical messages are in the replies to the post announcing Extinct’s signing to the team.
On the other hand, Michael Cassidy, a well-known British CS:GO commentator and analyst, said:
“@viperioesports replacing cryths after qualifying to the RMR has quickly turned a ‘feel-good’ for the UK scene into a shitshow. T kick bevve during a bereavement leave and now they kick their self-expressed ‘super-sub’ all while stringing ping along as well? What am I missing?”

To this, Viperio Head Coach Ciarán “biscu” King said.
To everyone who is disappointed with us, we have to make hard decisions in the best interests of the roster with the long term in mind and we believed this was our best plan of action. https://t.co/dUNJ86K2BM

The European Region RMR A for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will be played April 6-9, 2023. Viperio has a tough schedule, as they may face the likes of Outsiders, NaVi, FaZe Clan, and Fnatic in the process.
