The RMRs for the CS:GO Paris Major in some regions of the world are nearing the end, and so far, we have eight teams that have sealed their tickets to Paris. There is no doubt that these have been very exciting and intense matches and, in addition to some expected results, we have also seen some big surprises.

NaVi, Fnatic, and Into The Breach are the teams that have secured their presence in the Legends Stage of the CS:GO Paris Major 2023. Grayhound Gaming defeated The Mongolz in the Upper Beacker final in the Asia-Pacific region and secured their ticket to the Challengers Stage. While paiN, FURIA, Team GamerLegion, and Bad New Eagles will fight for two more spots for the Legends Stage in the next hours.

The remaining slots from the Asia-Pacific, Europe A, and Americas regions are being played for.

Brazil takes over the RMRs in the Americas

paiN Gaming and FURIA managed to win their first three matches of the qualifiers to secure their ticket to the Paris Major and will also start from the coveted Legends Stage. Both teams showed great superiority over their rivals; the qualification is more than deserved.

PaiN Gaming’s path to qualification was completely clean, as they did not lose a single map. On the other hand, Paquetá Gaming, Complexity Gaming, and Fluxo were their victims in this Americas RMR.

FURIA, on the other hand, also showed great dominance throughout the qualifier. However, they had a harder test against Team Liquid in the Round 3 match. The North Americans started on the right foot by winning in Nuke (19-16), which could have been a hard blow for FURIA.

But, the Brazilians woke up, and with a reverse sweep and a spectacular beating on the last map, Mirage, by 16-4, they managed to secure their ticket to Paris and their place in the Legends Stage.

GamerLegion, Into The Breach, and BNE get on the plane with NaVi and Fnatic

The first surprise of the RMR A’s in Europe came from Bad New Eagles, who crushed FaZe Clan with an excellent 2-0 win to secure their ticket to Paris. The Kosovo team managed to give an excellent performance in this match, and with wins over Inferno (16-10) and Mirage (16-14), they put FaZe on the ropes and secured their qualification.

Into The Breach, meanwhile, managed to bounce back from their first loss to NaVi and win all three remaining matches to secure third place in the table, their qualification to the Paris Major, and, most importantly, their place in the Legends Stage. Undoubtedly, the ” small ” teams have made a big splash in these qualifiers.

Team GamerLegion recovered from a loss in the first match against Apeks with three consecutive victories to secure their qualification. Although they finished with the same record (3-1) as Into The Breach, the round difference gave the latter a direct ticket to the Legends Stage.

Grayhound stops The Mongolz and takes first place in Asia-Pacific

Finally, Grayhound gave an excellent show of great level by defeating The Mongolz with a score of 2-1 to get the first ticket from the Asia-Pacific region to the Paris Major. Remember that both slots awarded in this region are for the Challengers phase.

Now, The Mongolz will face Rare Atom, whom they defeated in their second match of these RMRs, to try to seal their ticket to the Paris Major.
