Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops: What are they and how to get them

Season 10 of Overwatch 2 has arrived–and along with it will come the opportunity to get free in-game cosmetics by watching your favorite channels on Twitch. Season 10 Twitch Drops: Includes a Cyclops Roadhog legendary skin, victory pose, highlight intro, and more. Here’s how to claim these limited-time offers.

What Are the Twitch Drop Rewards for Season 10?

For season 10, Blizzard has put together an Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops campaign featuring three different rewards at varying time investment levels:

Roadhog Victory Pose – 2 Hours Watched

The first reward up for grabs is a new Roadhog victory pose showing off the beefy tank flexing his robotic muscles. You’ll unlock this drop after watching just 2 hours of streams.

Crushing Blow Highlight Intro – 5 Hours Watched  

At the 5-hour mark, you’ll receive the “Crushing Blow” highlight intro, a stylized animation showing Roadhog pounding the ground with his spiked chain hook.

Cyclops Roadhog Legendary Skin – 9 Hours Watched

The headliner reward for dedicated viewers is the Cyclops Roadhog legendary skin. This sinister-looking cosmetic redesigns Roadhog with glowing red cybernetic augmentations and a single menacing red eye. Earning it requires 9 total hours of viewing.

How to Claim Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops

If you haven’t already, you must link your Blizzard Battle.net account to your Twitch account in order to be eligible for Overwatch 2’s season 10 Twitch Drops:

1. After logging in, select your account symbol in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Click “Connections” from the menu after selecting the “Settings” option.
3. Locate the connection labeled “Blizzard Battle.net” and select “Connect.”
4. To properly connect your Battle.net account to Twitch, log in.

With your accounts linked, you can now start viewing any Twitch stream that is designated as an “Overwatch 2 Drop Enabled” broadcast. Qualifying channels are easily identifiable by the “Drops Enabled” tag underneath the video player. 

Popular creators like Emongg, Fitzy, and Flats have been featuring the Drops frequently. Additionally, the official PlayOverwatch Twitch channel, linked below, will be running 24/7 Drop streams all season:

Simply keep any eligible Overwatch 2 streams running while you watch, and Twitch will track your view time. You can check your overall “Drops Progress” by clicking your account icon and selecting “Drops & Rewards.”

Be sure to manually claim any rewards you’ve unlocked on Twitch before they can appear in Overwatch 2. The season 10 Twitch Drops campaign is live now and runs through April 21st.

When is the End of Overwatch 2 Season 10?

The 10th season of Overwatch 2 started on April 4 and will end on June 1st, 2024. So you have about two months to hit that 9-hour threshold and claim the full Twitch Drop rewards set.

However, it’s always wise to pursue the unlocks sooner than later. Blizzard has been known to abruptly end or alter Twitch Drop campaigns in the past. Additionally, some items may go away when a new season begins, so there’s no guarantee the Cyclops Roadhog skin will still be obtainable in season 11.
