Excellent news for all Call of Duty: Warzone 2 lovers, especially those who love sniper rifles. Activision has confirmed that the One-shot sniper rifles are returning to the game for season 3, which will be released on April 12.

There is no doubt that this is one of the most awaited news for many players in the community, as all of us who love playing with sniper rifles were frustrated by the fact that we couldn’t take down rivals with a headshot. Finally, however, Activision has heard our prayers and is returning this feature for next season.

On the other hand, this could also help the game as such, as it is no secret that the popularity of Warzone 2 has decreased a lot in recent weeks. Because of this, many popular streamers have decided to step back from our beloved Battle Royale.

Activision confirms one-shot sniper rifles for season 3

Through an official statement on their blog, Activision released more details regarding what will be coming in the Warzone 2 Season 3 update. One of these details is one of the most requested features by the community, the one-shot sniper rifles.

While it is true that many players found a way to build a loadout of one-shot sniper rifles, Activision then decided to nerf it, which caused a lot of annoyance in the community. However, now with the news of the return of this feature, there is no doubt that we are all very eager to use our favorite weapon to win matches.

But not everything is as simple as it seems. For example, Activision mentions on their blog that, for these sniper rifles to be single-shot, they must be set up perfectly with attachments and platforms.

Other new features in Warzone 2 Season 3

In addition to the long-awaited, requested, and longed-for one-shot sniper rifles, Activision has also published different improvements that will be made to our beloved Battle Royale. First, they highlighted that there would be a balance in the locations of the shopping stations on the map. In addition, they detail that these stores will be located in safer areas on the map.

For all of us who play Warzone 2, it is a real nightmare to revive our teammates and buy weapons or equipment in a buying station. The vast majority (which are scarce in Al Mazrah and Ashika Island) are in wide open areas, and opposing players can easily annihilate you. According to Activision, this will change, and these will be in safe places like indoors or places with close cover.

On the other hand, we will also have the arrival of Plunder mode, the one we loved so much in the original Warzone, and Al Mazrah in Resurgence mode. Finally, another of the most requested changes is a new map for the Gulag.
