The two quarterfinal matches of the CS Asia Championship 2023 are history, and we have ENCE defeated NiP in an excellent series to qualify for the tournament’s semifinals.

ENCE is currently one of the best CS2 teams in the world, so they were the favorites to win this series. However, NiP has also shown a great level in recent weeks, and we were sure that they would not make it very easy for their rivals.

One way or another, the important thing is that we enjoyed from start to finish a series that had to be defined in 3 maps and where any of the two teams could have taken the victory. Finally, ENCE won 2-1 to advance to the semifinals, where they will face FaZe Clan tomorrow, Sunday, November 12, at 08:00 CET.

Let’s see what happened in this series between ENCE and NiP in the CS Asia Championship 2023 quarterfinals.

ENCE beats NiP 2-1 to qualify for the semifinals

We undoubtedly had a really exciting series from start to finish, as both teams had chances to take the victory. ENCE started winning the first map very well, but NiP responded immediately on their map pick to even the series 1-1. Finally, ENCE managed to take a comfortable win on the third map to seal their ticket to the CS Asia Championship 2023 semifinals.

The series took place on Nuke, Overpass, and Ancient.

Nuke

It all started on Nuke, ENCE’s map pick, where both teams displayed great play in the first half. However, the ENCE boys, led by Pavle “Maden” Bošković, took the partial victory by 7-5.

Then, at the change of sides, NiP started their T Side very well, winning the first 3 rounds and placing the score 8-7. However, it was all over there, as ENCE won 6 consecutive rounds to seal their 13-8 victory.

Overpass

Things changed completely in the second map, Overpass, especially in the second half. As happened in Nuke, ENCE won the first half with a score of 7-5 on their CT Side.

However, at the change of sides, the NiP boys woke up in great shape to start an excellent comeback that ended with victories in 8 out of 9 rounds played, to take the win in the second map by 13-8 and even the series 1-1.

Ancient

Finally, the teams moved to Ancient to contest the third and final map of this CAC 2023 quarterfinal series.

In the first half, Guy “NertZ” Iluz and Vladan “VLDN” Radevic were responsible for deciphering NiP’s defensive approaches to lead ENCE to a solid 10-2 partial victory.

Finally, NiP tried to make another comeback at the change of sides, just as they did in Overpass. However, the attempt fell short, as after 7 rounds (3-4), ENCE managed to take the win 13-6 to seal their ticket to the tournament’s semifinals.
