Usually, Overwatch 2 battle passes require a lot of time and dedication, as players need 10k experience to pass each level. If we talk about the 80 battle pass levels, players need 800k experience to get the premium cosmetics.

However, for casual Overwatch 2 players, completing the battle pass and getting the cosmetics is impossible. So, the game developers have created a new game mode that will be available for a limited time.

This new game mode is already active so that players can get a mythical skin of Kiriko; in addition to a main Brigitte, she can pop her ultimate ability.

New limited-Time game mode in Overwatch 2

The new game mode in Overwatch 2 is called Catch a Mari and is a 3v3 confirmed elimination game. In this new game mode, players must stay alive. The objective is to destroy the opponent; whenever an enemy is eliminated, a Pachimari toy of the hero they are playing with will appear.

To get the elimination point, the team must catch the toy; however, if the opposing team catches it first, they get the point.

The new game mode offers players yeses new challenges that, when completed, earn 80k experience. You will complete 10% of the battle pass in fewer challenges.

On the other hand, it should be noted that in many of the Catch a Mari challenges, it is unnecessary to win the games; they only ask players to finish the game.

Collect adorable Pachimari cosmetics

In this new game mode, all game users can earn adorable cosmetics. So even if you already own the Pachimari Roadhog look, there are still amazing cosmetics as a reward for completing this new challenge.

The Catch a Mari game mode can give you a Pachimari name card, new Pachimari icons, plus a new weapon amulet.

This new game mode is fun; the developers want all players to enjoy the event without the pressure of winning every game. So, to complete 5 of the 6 challenges, you only have to play 16 games in the Catch a Mari game mode.

Even if your performance in the game is terrible, you can still complete the challenges.

Duration of the new game mode

As previously mentioned, the Catch a Mari game mode will be available for a limited time. Players have until April 4 to take advantage of this opportunity.

With the Catch a Mari mode, players can level up their Battle Pass quickly, a great opportunity that Blizzard has created for all players.
