Now that we are in the summer break for professional CS:GO players, there is no doubt that many organizations are thinking about making changes for what will be the rest of 2023. With the transition coming in the pro scene to CS2, we should remember that teams will want to be very well prepared to tackle everything in the best possible way from the start.

Over the past few weeks, many rumors have been about the dissolution of Team GamerLegion’s lineup. However, the team denied this news and stated they were preparing for the rest of the year. However, a few hours ago, news broke out that MOUZ is very close to signing Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, one of the best IGLs on the pro scene today.

Reports claim that the deal between Team GamerLegion and MOUZ is very advanced

According to different reports from the web portal Dexerto, the agreement to transfer siuhy between MOUZ and Team GamerLegion is very advanced. In addition, it is also highlighted that this is expected to be closed in the coming days and, in addition, to be announced to the fans.

On the other hand, it should be noted that siuhy is no stranger to MOUZ at all. The 20-year-old Polish IGL played with MOUZ NXT, MOUZ’s academy team, for over a year. However, this one made the jump to Team GamerLegion in September 2022.

Hubert “szejn” Światły and siuhy were the only two players from the MOUZ Academy team who were not promoted during the 2022 season to the main MOUZ lineup. Recall that both Dorian “xertioN” Berman, Jon “JDC” de Castro, and Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás were also part of MOUZ NXT, along with siuhy and szejn.

At that time, the talented Polish IGL decided to jump to Team GamerLegion, a Tier 2 team that was not among the best in the scene. However, thanks to his excellent performances and outstanding IGL work, he led them to qualify for the IEM Rio Major 2022 and Paris Major 2023.

Team GamerLegion tries to retain its stars

Team GamerLegion is one of the most surprising teams throughout 2023. The team’s overall performances have been well above expectations, so the organization is doing everything possible to keep its stars on the team. However, if Siuhy’s departure from the team becomes official, we will have to wait for the reaction of Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand and Ivan “iM” Mihai. Well, everything points to the fact that they might leave the lineup.

While it is true that Siuhy has shown a high level during the last few months, the highest point was undoubtedly in the Paris Major, where he led his team to the Grand Final against Team Vitality. Although they were indeed crushed 0-2 by Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Vitality, the team had an excellent performance throughout the tournament.

From that moment on, rumors began about siuhy’s departure from the team, and everything pointed to his destination being G2 Esports. However, a reunion with his former teammates in MOUZ seems a better option for the Pole.

If the change is confirmed, we will have an extremely strong MOUZ ahead of the transition to CS2, which will begin sometime in the summer of 2023.
